I know, there are just 2 songs released so far, but this song instantly became one of my absolutely favorite tracks from S&S, so it won't be easy to surpass this song for me personally 🖤
Favorite track: Nicotine (Bury Me).
After the release of their last EP Maybe Someday We'll Bloom, Sounds & Scenarios waited (not so) patiently until they were able to play shows, and throughout that time, they decided to release some other tracks: their split EP with Vermont pop punk group The Silent Mile, and their two singles "When the Fame Goes to Die" and "Stalemate," the latter of which also showcased a cover of "Hey Jealousy" by Gin Blossoms. What people didn't know is even before the release of "Fame," they were already beginning to work on their followup to the Bloom EP, and what they planned was more ambitious than anything they had ever done before. They wanted to take everything they had learned from their last 3 releases, and sum it all up into one EP that was drenched in influences from Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional, and the Goo Goo Dolls. Though it seemed like a departure from what they had been doing previously, this was clearly the next logical step in their path. And hopping onboard for the ride was none other than Braeden Rawa, the newest member of Sounds & Scenarios, who was just as excited about this new direction as Avery and Tyler were. The result of their hard work would be this: Cherry Blossom Season.
Featuring singles "Dancing With Your Silhouette" and "Nicotine (Bury Me)," Cherry Blossom Season pulls out all the stops, with each song being more heartfelt than the last and leaves you begging for more. Tyler, Avery, and Braeden have put everything on the line with this release, no holds bar, and these six songs will be staples in their catalog for years to come.
